InterWorks facilitated a Workshop on Emergency Management (WEM) for UNHCR in Starum, Norway from 19-29 June 2018. Hosting arrangements for the WEM in Starum were financed by the Royal Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in direct arrangement with the host institution with the Norwegian Directorate for Civil Protection and Emergency Planning (Direktoratet for samfunnssikkerhet og beredskap – or DSB http://www.dsb.no/forside.asp) – as the supporting host institution. Emergency Management Training (EMT) for the Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA)

InterWorks co-facilitated an Emergency Management Training (EMT) from 6-13 December 2015 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The workshop, co-sponsored by UNHCR and the Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA), was held for a group of Saudi Red Crescent staff who had been selected for a wide curriculum of training in international humanitarian response. The event included an emergency deployment simulation based on the model of UNHCR’s regular Workshop on Emergency Management WEM. Read more
