InterWorks facilitated the Workshop on Emergency Management Online (WEMO) for the Emergency Response Team (ERT) roster for two events held 19-26 March 2021 (WEMO1) and 9-16 April 2021 (WEMO2). Overall coordination, planning and administration of the workshops were managed by the UNHCR Global Learning & Development Centre (GLDC) which administers the WEM on behalf of the Division of Emergency, Security and Supply (DESS). Basics of International Humanitarian Response On-line (BIHR)

The UNHCR Regional Centre for Emergency Preparedness – eCentre held a webinar series from 11-20 January based on the long-running Basics of International Humanitarian Response (BIHR) workshop. The webinar was conducted with 29 participants enrolled from 11 different countries. InterWorks was asked to assist in the preparation and facilitation of the eight-day long webinar series, and to host the overall webinar platform. Read more

Security Risk Management Workshop

Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) | Jan 2020

InterWorks conducted a Security Risk Management (SRM) workshop specifically for JICA personnel in Tsukuba, Japan from 8-10 January 2020 at the JICA Training Institute. Participants attending were from the Security Management Department at JICA HQs and from JICA Overseas Offices Participants from the overseas offices came from the Americas and the Caribbean (Haiti, Guatemala and Mexico) and Asia (Afghanistan, India, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan and Timor-Leste).
