Boguslaw Romantowski

Boguslaw Romantowski is the former UNHCR Field Staff Safety Development Officer and Field Safety Adviser with 11 years of experience of work for UNHCR operations. He spent four years in UNHCR Emergency and Security Management Training Team in the UNHCR Global Learning Center after completing assignments as Field Safety Adviser in Georgia, Russian Federation, Iraq and Myanmar.

As the security risk management trainer, apart from the global training delivery and facilitation of various UNHCR and UN security learning programs he also carried out security field missions to strengthen the security management mechanism in UNHCR operations in high risk areas of Ukraine, Pakistan, Kenya and Somalia.

His UN Security Risk Management Experience is complemented by his military and peacekeeping expertise gained during more than 22 years in the Polish Armed Forces and several UN Peacekeeping missions.
