InterWorks facilitated a workshop on tools and methods of situation analysis for the Ministry of Education, Department of Planning staff in Kabul Afghanistan, June 2008. The objective of the workshop was to train the Planning Department designated staff and eight programs planning officers on different tools of situation analysis: key indicators and data analysis, SWOT analysis, problem tree analysis, objective trees and developing objectives so that participants are able to draft an outline of a situation analysis as part of the annual and mid-term planning processes.
