UNESCO May 2009
InterWorks facilitated the UNESCO Post-Conflict and Post-Disaster (PCPD) Preparedness Training 11-14 May 2009 in Santiago, Chile. The course provided participants with vital PCPD-related knowledge and tools to assist them in preparing, planning and mobilizing resources for a UNESCO integrated response in post-conflict and post-disaster settings within the larger national or United Nations/IASC humanitarian response. Participants included Country and Regional Directors, program officers, sector program specialists and Chile Ministry of Education/National Commission staff.
Very useful workshop; interactive parts were extremely helpful; The “hands-on” experience reports of colleagues were useful; good teamwork.
