InterWorks facilitated a workshop for Facilitators of Contingency Planning for Disasters. This workshop, held in Pasay City, Philippines on 30 July – 3 August 2007, was previously identified as a needed and regionally available opportunity for capacity building as an outcome of the previous year’s planning of the ASEAN Regional Programme on Disaster Management. The training was designed to improve the skills and knowledge of participants in contingency planning formulation as well as in facilitating contingency planning workshops.
The course is organized well. I received many experiences and learned about hazards and disaster in the ASEAN region and facilitators in contingency planning.
