Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) Apr 2016
InterWorks developed two 1-day pilot training workshops near Atlanta, Georgia on April 26 and 27, 2016 for The Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) Center for Disaster Resilience. These two workshops were designed to train mid-level field staff of HFH National Organizations (NOs) and partner organizations on the core content and approaches outlined in HFHI’s related Technical Guides for Emergency Shelter Kits (ESK), Shelter Repair Kits (SRK) and Transitional Shelter/Core Houses.
The participatory exercises were fantastic. They engage the groups and allow for way more retention of the information then just listening to a talking head.
