Safety In the Field (SIF) Exercise

InterWorks conducted the eCentre’s Safety In the Field exercise from 21-25 April 2025 outside Bangkok, Thailand. It was attended by 22 participants, all of whom were from the Republic of Korea and enrolled in this workshop to strengthen their capacities and members of the Korea Disaster Relief Team (KDRT). They included participants from KOICA, the National Medical Center and the Korea Foundation for International Healthcare. Read more

Basics of International Humanitarian Response (BIHR) Online

The UNHCR Regional Centre for Emergency Preparedness – eCentre held its third condensed and online version of the Basics of International Humanitarian Response (BIHR) workshop from 24-28 March 2025 based on the long-running BIHR face-to-face and online workshops. The online workshop was conducted with 24 participants enrolled from primarily from UNHCR, NGOs, and government counterparts from several countries in the region. Read more

Security Risk Management Workshop

Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) | Feb 2023

The Security Management Department of the JICA Planning Division in Tokyo requested InterWorks to lead an in-person Security Risk Management (SRM) workshop this year. Due to the covid-19 pandemic, an online version of the JICA SRM was developed and implemented in 2021 and 2022. This SRM workshop, which took place from 30 January-1 February 2023, was based on the original (2020) agenda with minor modifications made based on experiences during both the in-person and online JICA SRM workshops.
