InterWorks developed a one-day module related to disaster preparedness to complement the training package for “Advancing Disaster Risk Reduction at the National level” for UN country teams and their Governmental counterparts. The work was done for the Capacity for Disaster Reduction Initiative (CADRI), a partnership between the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the secretariat of the International Strategy for Disaster Reduction (ISDR) that supports Resident Coordinators, UN Country Teams and national authorities in strengthening capacities for disaster risk reduction.
