ATELIER DE FORMATION AUX SITUATIONS D’URGENCE (SET) : Préparation aux urgences, scénarios d’urgence, priorités en matière de protection, de coordination et d’intervention

InterWorks conducted a Situational Emergency Training (SET) with UNHCR GLDC in Bujumbura, Burundi from 17‐20 April 2018.

This workshop was conducted in French and brought together agency directors, senior managers, protection officers and programme staff from UNHCR, other UN agencies, government and local NGO partners to consider possible future emergency refugee and repatriation flow scenarios that could occur in Burundi in the coming year, and to begin contingency planning of priorities and coordination required to respond effectively to such scenarios. In addition, principles of protection, refugee coordination model and humanitarian sector priorities were reviewed to inform contingency planning process. InterWorks designed and co-facilitated this workshop with UNHCR GLDC.
