Indonesia Climate Change Center Strategic Planning

US Forest Service | Jul 2013

InterWorks assisted the Indonesia Climate Change Center (ICCC), at the request of the US Forest Service (USFS) International Programs, to further develop their planning and activities in measurement, reporting and verification (MRV) of greenhouse gas emissions related to climate change.

The Indonesia Climate Change Council (DNPI) formed the Indonesia Climate Change Center with technical assistance and support from the USFS and funds from the U.S. State Department. An offsite retreat took place in May 2013 resulting in agreement on the parameters for work over the next year for the different research clusters, including the MRV Cluster. During July and August 2013, all implementation activities were to be formulated and presented to the ICCC Oversight Committee (comprised of DNPI, State and USFS) for approval. InterWorks facilitated the discussions and provided the necessary assistance to facilitate the planning and design of project activities and identification of stakeholders for further partnership and collaboration.
