Save the Children-Nicaragua, 2002: InterWorks designed and conducted a workshop and a disaster emergency simulation. In cooperation with Microsoft, the workshop focused on emergency needs assessment using handheld digital technology. The aim of the workshop was to improve the speed of collection, consolidation, and dissemination of hurricane and landslide damage assessment reports.
